Long-term care residents celebrate 5th annual LGBTQ pride parade

Acceptance and openness were on display with bright colours at a long-term care home in St. John’s on Monday.
It’s the fifth year for the LGBTQ pride parade at Pleasant View Towers, which features residents — many of whom use wheelchairs or other mobility aids — walking around the building with rainbow flags and t-shirts.
It means so much to resident Elizabeth Holloway that it was actually the reason she moved there.
