The WEAAD Placemat was developed in January 2017 for use on World Elder Abuse Awareness Day in June 2017 (see NLNPEA). The placemats were reprinted in February 2018. Printing sponsored by Verafin (prevention of financial abuse against older adults) in 2017, 2018 and 2019. WEAAD placemats were sent out to many NL groups and organizations from April to June in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
