Nav-Care Volunteer – Eastern Urban Zone and Eastern Rural Zone NLHS

Nav-Care Volunteer in the Eastern Urban Zone and Eastern Rural Zone NL Health Service. 

Nav-CARE is a free volunteer navigation program that supports people with declining health (living at home or in a personal care home) to live independently in the community for as long as possible. Specially trained Nav-CARE volunteers help clients access resources and services in their community while providing companionship and emotional support.
Nav-CARE volunteers must be a minimum of 19 years of age. Provide support to a senior population.
Specific skills required along with a Time Commitment: 1.5 to 2 hours per week;
Application process: orientation and training will be arranged by the Nav-CARE coordinator.
