Seniors (65 +), if you cannot use online services and are having problems getting through by phone to make an appointment, you can access walk-in counter service one morning a week at Motor Vehicle at ALL locations in NL.
• In-Person DROP IN ON WEDNESDAY MORNINGS with seniors ( 65+) as a priority. From 8:30 am to 12:00 pm (All Offices).
For the remainder of the week – Monday to Friday (minus Wednesday morning): People can walk in for service but they may have to wait for hours as service is prioritized for people with appointments (and for Seniors 65+ on Wednesday mornings).

Due to COVID-19  the Medical Records Division is offering Medical renewal online at MyGovNL.ca ( must set up an account)
Medical files will be reviewed on a case by case basis and some extensions may be approved. Drivers who have questions about medical forms or medical requirements are asked to contact the Medicals section at MRDMedicals@gov.nl.ca or 1-709-729-0345 or 1-877-636-6867 (toll free).
