Communities Against Violence- Western Avalon (CAV) is one of ten regional coordinating committees working to increase awareness of all forms of violence.  The provincial Violence Prevention Initiative Services (through the Office for the Status of Women) supports the RCCs through a grants program and other activities.  This organization works to end violence in Western Avalon Region.
